Starting the project

A cross-platform system is available on the internet from any browser or as a separate application, thanks to Flex technology.

All the essential functions are accessible from the dashboard. The system consists of modules responsible for handling a variety of tasks.

Sales promotions

Here at SoftFacade we completely reworked the business procedures, visuals and representation of the sales promotions in the interface.

The interface we designed allows SetRetail to handle any of the company's present promotions or sales campaigns. It can also be a reliable tool for marketing experts as they dream up future promotions to benefit the company.

Customer cards

We designed the visual mechanism so that card categories practically are effortless.

The system is convenient for the store directors as they set discount policies and, similarly, for the desk managers who have to solve whatever problems customers might come across with their cards.

Running the stores

After developing the report forms that give an appraisal of the overall performance of the personnel and the stores, we put them in the most convenient form to show on the screen and make printouts.

At the same time, we optimized the management procedures for the whole store chain, the sales equipment and the personnel.

POS-terminals

As part of the project we also designed the interfaces for the POS-terminals in their various representations, as well as for equipment with and without touch-screens.

Functional design

For development, QA and installation, we created detailed instructions describing the procedures and each individual screen.

Development

Our programming people went to work on developing the components for Flex and JAVA, built a UI from them and integrated it into the business logic we'd hit upon with some invaluable assistance from Crystal Service.
